Installing Omeka was a breeze. I later found out that my classmates were making the mistake of using Omeka S due to the tutorial showing steps to do it there. I did however forget to take replace “cms” in the optional directory section at first so to fix this issue without having to do it all over again, I chose to clone the page and change the directory to “Omeka_Installation” and then deleted the original so it could be replaced by the copied version.
All my pictures were easy to upload and I made sure to specifically keep them as JPG files for simplicity.
Just a quick 20-second video I think everyone would enjoy!
Did that just happen? Yes, yes it did.
