This week in Omeka I chose a more diverse insight into my life. The two MP4 files this week consisted of my little cousin’s first birthday and a surprise presents my friends and I gave in our senior year of high school. At first, I wasn’t sure which clips I was going to post but as I went through my phone I ended up choosing the two that created the biggest smiles on my face. As for the two MP3 files this week, they were more relevant to now. The Owl audio file was the first time I actually had something make me jump out of my chair as I wasn’t exactly ready for the sheer scream the owl was going to make. The other audio file was more my thoughts about how the Halloween/Christmas season gets me feeling. I’ve also been thinking of creating a podcast with my friends where we would invite other people into a call and just simply see where the conversations would take us. And finally, my image was just a recent selfie I took in class.
I hope I chose the appropriate MetaData files this week. The overall assignment this week was very fun. At one point I had an issue uploading my MP3 files but all I had to to was use the MP3 repair tool as the files had somehow been damaged. After that, adding a tag and posting the images was a breeze!
